If you were to go strictly by the Bark Off reviews, then you would think that there is no reason that a dog owner wouldn’t own the device.  At the least it would seem like a good idea to have it just in case your little Yorkie or other small dog was to develop a baritone bark.  Is it really that good and effective though?

While it does seem that Bark Off has a wonderful track record of success, it is not going to be a one stop tool with no other effort needed.  The idea that a tool is only as effective as the operator is true for tools like Bark Off as well.  If you just use it indiscriminately with no effort to increase the effectiveness then you’re not likely to get nearly as much out of it as you would if you put in some effort.  Training a dog or trying to alter their behavior requires that you work together, as a team.
